145 Alive is an activity event to promote the use of 2m FM simplex. Several nets across the UK are established, often from SOTA locations and anyone is welcome to call in and get as many contacts as possible. SOTA to SOTA is possible but by no means neccessary to take part. Just get on the air!
145 Alive is currently coordinated via the Facebook group 145 ALIVE ACTIVITY EVENT GROUP. Magic pixies will endeavour to update this site with information in the run-up to each event.
145 Alive 29 September 2024 1pm - 4pm
UPDATE 18-8-24 - We now have 27 Nets running for the event. We would still like more, so please do come forward and offer. We will separate locations by frequency allocation so it doesn't matter if we have more than one Net in each grid square. Its a case of the 'more the merrier'!! Mark (M0XIC)
