-** 145 Alive RADIO Giveaway **
-As a result of a kind donation and purely for this event, we are in a position to give away a Mobile Radio (Yaesu FT 2980 Transceiver). This giveaway will be open to all those who take part in the next 145 Alive Event on the 26th January 2025.
-All unique Callsigns who appear in a Net Control Log will be placed into a 'Hat' and one will be selected randomly. That Callsign will then be contacted and sent the Mobile Radio.
-Only those who appear in submitted Net Control Logs which are formatted in an ADIF Format will be able to be included.
-If anyone has an express wish to NOT have their callsign included must send an email to John Alexander ([email protected] )
-The timeline is as follows:
-  * **26th January** - Event Day
-  * **9th February** - Midnight Deadline for Net Logs to be received in an ADIF Format
-  * **22nd-23rd February** - Random Draw for the Radio will take place

-Take into account the prevailing conditions on the day and importantly have an alternative operating location identified. Any challenges will make you better operators. You could use Narrow FM on the day, it may make the audio a little more 'tinny', but may make you a little more punchy.
-Plan for the day with all the equipment and provisions necessary for you to operate and stay safe.
